Goodwill gets Goodwill.com in “amicable” resolution to domain name dispute.
In December, Domain Name Wire wrote about non-profit Goodwill Industries filing a complaint over the domain name Goodwill.com. The domain name was won on NameJet for $55,000 just days before the complaint was filed and then parked.
The next month Goodwill ended up dropping the case against Cyber2Media, which had purchased the domain name in the expired domain name auction.

Lawsuit dismissed, domain name no longer resolves.
Goodwill has voluntarily dismissed its case against Cyber2Media over the domain name Goodwill.com.
Goodwill Industries International, Inc., filed the case against Cyber2Media following the auction of the expired domain name on NameJet. Cyber2Media bought the domain name for $55,978 in the auction. It was then parked.

Charity sues company that bought domain name for $55,000 in NameJet domain name auction.
Non-profit Goodwill Industries International has sued the owner of Goodwill.com for alleged trademark infringement. The lawsuit (pdf) names Cyber2Media, Inc., the owner of the domain, and Oversee.net, which briefly monetized the domain on its DomainSponsor platform, as defendants.
