DomainHoldings.com has brokered the domain name Adopting.com for $125,000 according to a blog post.
The purchaser of the domain name is Adoptimist.com.
The blog post gives a few details on the negotiation and sale.

Domain Holdings sells $6.1 million in domains in Q2 - Domain Holdings recovers from first quarter but is still down compared to last year.
Domain Holdings reported sales numbers for Q2 2015 including $6.15 million in domain name sales.
This is up from $4.75 million sold in Q1, but is less than half of what it sold in Q2 2014.
64% of sales were in the United States and 34% were to China.
85% of domains were .com, 3% .net and .org, and 10.5% were various gTLDs. The company sold a .IO domain name for six figures.

Flippa acquires Domain Holdings - Flippa bulks up sales engine with Domain Holdings.
Website and domain name marketplace Flippa has acquired domain name brokerage Domain Holdings for an unspecified price. The combined companies expect to generate $70 million in revenue over the next 12 months.
Flippa, originally created to sell existing websites, has expanded its domain name sales business in recent years. It also started hiring brokers to help move domain names, a role that Domain Holdings will now fill.

Domain Holdings reports $4.75 million domain name sales in Q1 - Sales up year-over-year but down quarter-over-quarter.
Domain Holdings has released its quarterly report of domain name sales. The company sold $4.75 million worth of domain names in Q1 2015.
Although this is up 40% over its sales in Q1 of 2015, the number is about half of what the company has sold in each of the past three quarters.
Domain Holdings’ sales team has gone through a lot of recent upheaval, with a number of brokers leaving.

Domain Holdings sells $8.1 million of domain names in Q4 - Company brokered over $30 million worth of domain names last year.
Domain Holdings reported today that it sold $8.1 million worth of domain names last quarter, bringing its 2014 tally to $31.0 million.
The fourth quarter number was down slightly from a strong Q2 and Q3 ($9.9M and $9.6M, respectively) but still strong compared to Q1 2014 and prior.
77% of the company’s sales in Q4 were .com domain names, and the same percentage of names had 10 or fewer characters.

Domain Holdings sole scarcely $10 million in domain names final quarter -
…and 98% of sales were .com.
Domain Holdings’ outbound domain name sales machine continued to churn last quarter, with the company selling $9.55 million worth of domains in Q3.
That’s down slightly from the $9.9 million it sold in Q2, but that quarter included a $5.0 million sale. The biggest transaction in Q3 was $2.7 million.
And compared to Q1…it’s up nearly 3x.

Domain Holdings scarcely triples sales in second quarter -
Company sells close to $10 million worth of domain names.
Domain name brokerage Domain Holdings had a big second quarter, turning in almost 3x the sales of its first quarter.
The company reported today that it sold $9.9M worth of domain names in the second quarter of this year. That compares to just $3.4 million in the first quarter.

Domain name broker Domain Holdings has released statistics about its sales for the first time ever. The company plans to release data every quarter going forward.
While not disclosing specific sale prices, the company reported aggregate numbers.
