Moniker.com tonight announced that it successfully brokered T-Shirts.com, T-Shirt.com, Tshirts.com, Tees.com, Tee-Shirts.com for $1.265 million.
The buyer is Costumes Galore, Inc.
Nice sale.

Our Picks From The Live New York DomainFest Auction - Clearly Moniker.com is relying on at least one big dollar sale at the Live domain name auction at Domainfest, tomorrow , as out of the 122 domains up for auction only 16 have a reserve of under $10K, while 53 have a reserve of $100K or more.
Wow.

TRAFFIC Award Nominations Are Opened & Here Are Our Picks For Domain Hall Of Fame & Domainer of The Year - Well as Mr. Schwartz announced earlier today Nominations For TRAFFIC awards including the Domain Hall Of Fame Domainer of The Year are now opened. (Copy of the notice is below), and will be handed out at the TRAFFIC South Beach show in a couple of months.
The Nomination period is short, closing at Tuesday August 17, 2010 at 5PM EST.

I just ended the week long poll I was running on which domain you thought would sell at the live domain name auction at Domainfest, which will be held in New York on August 18th, of those domain names with a reserve price range of $1M+
Stocks.com lead the way with 32% of you picking that domain as the one that will sell at Domainfest with 23% picking “none will sell”, with XXX.com right behind with 20% of the vote.

Mashable.com Lists 100+ Tech Conferences Coming Up In 2010 But Not One Domain Show - Mashable.com just posted 100+ tech shows upcoming in 2010, but unfortunately not one upcoming domain show was included in the lengthy list.
If we are going to expand the domain industry we are going to have to get some of our major shows and conferences to be recognized.

RickLatona Premier Live Domain TRAFFIC Auction List Is Released: Tuscany.com, Cheesecake.com, Remix.com, Erotica.com, Hear.com Included - RickLatona.com just released the list of the domains he will be auctioning off in the Live Domain Auction from the TRAFFIC show in Milan.
The auction will be held on April 28th at 10am EST and remote bidding will be on Proxibid.com.
Reserve Ranges are stated in EURO’s.
As of Friday’s close, the exchange rate of Euro’s to dollars is approximately: 1 Euro= $1.35 US.
So if a domain has a reserve of 10,000 Euro’s your looking at $13,500 approximately.

There are over 250 live domains selected for the auction.
Remote bidding is available on SnapNames.com but you have to have an account and download the software in advance.
(the software does not work on a Mac operating system, unless you have the PC software installed on the Mac).

RickLatona.com TRAFFIC Auction Grosses $450K With a .ZA Leading The Way At $65K - The RickLatona.com auction just ended at the TRAFFIC show in Vegas with Just over $456K in sales.
The auction resumed today after it stopped for techincial reasons yesterday with $90K sold.
The $456K includes yesterdays sales.

Stop The Presses: Rick Latona Auction Stopped After 33 Domains Due To Online Bidding Problems - The RickLatona.com action was stopped 33 domains into the auction after the online auction software crashed.
The online system seem to crash just a couple of domain into the auction and never got working properly.
Rick Latona bravely took the stage after the auction for Concreteblocks.com sold for $2,000 and announced that he was stopping the auction out of fairness to his sellers and would resume the auction at 10am PST tomorrow.

We went through the 250+ domain in the Live RickLatona.com TRAFFIC auction and selected what we think are the most interesting and potentially best buys from the auction.

The Schedule for The DomainFest Structured Networking Sessions Is Released: Look At Who You Will Be Able To Chat With - There are a few new features at the DomainFest.com conference in a couple of weeks but for me the new morning structured networking sessions seem the most exciting.
Last year a couple of these were tried but they were schduled at the end of a busy day.
