Domain RoundTable Conference Opens Up With Special Offer For 1st 100 Signups & Early Bird Pricing - The Domain Roundtable which will be held at Atlantis Resort in Paradise Island, Bahamas from March 1-4th just opened up for registration. TRAFFIC Miami Wrap up: The Great, The Bad, & The Money - You probably have read on many blogs already the opinion that the TRAFFIC Miami show was the best TRAFFIC show since the 1st one way back in 2004. Zero.com Sells For $330K & DomainFest Prague Winds Up WIth Almost $1.8 Million In Sales - The extended auction for Domainfest ended yesterday on SnapNames, with several domains selling including Zip.com which was reported last night as selling for $1,058,830. Another great domain name, one we selected as a top pick, Zero.com sold for $329,420. Moniker.com Sells DayTrading.com For $200,000; DomainFest Live Auction Brings In $458K - Right after the DomainFest auction came to a close, Moniker.com sold the domain name DayTrading.com for $200,000. While the domain did not officially sell in the auction (it was passed) a deal was struck immediately after the close of the auction. Now That TRAFFIC Has Announced A Show For 2011, Whose Going To Run The Auctions? - The TRAFFIC show organizers announced yesterday that its going to hold its first show of 2011 right before the ICANN show in March in San Francisco. Now the questions becomes who is going to run the domain name auctions for them. DomainFest Prague Catalog Released, Auction Opens For Prebids & Mx.Com Gets A $250K Bid - Pre-bidding has just opened for the Live auction which will be held at DomainFest Prague on October 6th at 10am EST. There is already a pre-bid placed for $250,000 on MX.com. MX is of course among other things, the country code for Mexico. The domain has a reserve range of $250K-$500K and appearently has a reserve higher than the $250K bid. UPDATED: Quotes.com Sells For $1,150,000; Total DomainFest Extended Sales: $1,262,000 - Quotes.com just sold at the DomainFest extended auction on SnapNames.com for $1,150,000 Its a great domain and can be used for insurance, stocks and other financial markets. Compete.com shows the domain having over 20K visitors a month and Alexa ranks the domain as 450,000 most visited site. In all 19 domain names sold totally $1,261,905. A Record Low For A TRAFFIC Auction? RickLatona.com TRAFFIC Auction Results: 12 Domains Sold For A Total Of €86,820 - The RickLatona.com domain name auction from the TRAFFIC Dublin show just ended with what I’m pretty sure is an all time low for a TRAFFIC show. Just 12 domains sold for a total of 86,820 Euro’s or around $110K. Two domains accounted for 85% of the total sales, ShortFilms.com sold for €58,000 and Italian.net  €15,400. From A $25K Domain To A $10 Million Dollars Sale in Less Than 2 Years: HotPotato.com - According to TechCrunch.com the site HotPotato.com is being bought by Facebook for something between $10M-$15M. What makes this story interesting, is the domain HotPotato.com was for sale at the TRAFFIC auction in Orlando in May 2008 with a reserve price of $10k-$25K. Corrected: Official Tally From DomainFest Today: $537K - Moniker’s live auction at DomainFest New York concluded today with an official tally of $537K in Domain names sold. There was a lot of confusion concerning the number and amount of domain names sold at the auction,  due to multiple domain sales being reported on the Live SnapNames.com feed which they erroneous showed as sold.
