DigitalTrust.com Sells For $15K On NameJet.com; Karat.com Tops $18K with a Day to Go; How High Will It Go? - The domain name DigitalTrust.com sold for $14,600 today on NameJet.com Its a nice domain, but personally think it went for too much unless it went to an end user. A couple of other interesting sales on NameJet.com today including Solars.com for $6,100, PremiumLife.com for $2,655 and ParentsKnow.com for $2,200. Geld.info Is Going To Go For A Lot Of It On Sedo - The domain name Geld.info which looks like it has a mini site built on it has attracted a bid of 21,500 Euro’s on Sedo.com, which is around $28,000. Is A Domain Hack Worth 10x More Than The Correct Domain? Banco.co Vs. Ban.co - One of the results that caught my eye coming out of the .co Land Rush auctions was the result for Banco.co a natural domain compared to Ban.co a hack. Both domain names were the subject of Land Rush auctions but the results were quite different. Banco.co sold for just $2,300 a couple of weeks ago, at a land rush auction but the auction for Ban.co just concluded with a sales price of $24,500 more than 10X the sales price of the “correct” domain. Bang On Trademark HSBCbank.com Sells on Namejet.com For $19K - The domain name HSBCbank.com sold yesterday on NameJet.com for $18,954. HSBC is one of the largest bank in the world and its official site is at HSBC.com. The domain sold on NameJet.com has some traffic according to Alexa.com and Compete.com. .Co Land Rush Auctions Ring Up Another $500K In Sales - The .Co registry just released another round of results from the Land Rush domain name auctions totaling $480K in sales. The top sale as we reported yesterday was mesothelioma.co which set a Land Rush Auction record of $76,000. Despite most domainers believing that Slots.co would easily sell for more money than Denver.co (see the poll results on the right), Denver.co in fact fetched $50K while Slots.co ended at $41K. Buyer Beware: If You Buy A Zuccarini Domain At Latonas Expect To Be Sued - Buyer Beware That’s the only advice I can give anyone planning on buying one of Zuccarini’s domains now held by a receiver if they are auctioned off at Latonas. If you buy one of  these domains at Latonas auction expect to be sued. I confirmed with John Zuccarini today that he is planning on suing anyone who buys one of the domains at auction. DomainFest Prague Catalog Released, Auction Opens For Prebids & Mx.Com Gets A $250K Bid - Pre-bidding has just opened for the Live auction which will be held at DomainFest Prague on October 6th at 10am EST. There is already a pre-bid placed for $250,000 on MX.com. MX is of course among other things, the country code for Mexico. The domain has a reserve range of $250K-$500K and appearently has a reserve higher than the $250K bid. PeoplesBank.com Sells For $44K On NameJet: Fair or Fowl? - Peoplesbank.com sold for $44K today on NameJet.com The domain has a good amount of traffic according to Compete and Alexa and why not, its the name of a major publicly traded bank. There is a trademark dated 2002 belonging to Peoples Bank, National Association Peoples Bancorp, Inc. of Ohio, on the term Peoples Bank, yet there are other banks in the US that incorporate the terms people and bank and are separate from the trademark holder, including  People’s United Bank which uses the domain peoples.com ... read more ...

Bedding .Com’s Rock On NameJet.com Producing Over $70K in Sales - A couple of “bedding” .com domain names sold over at NameJet.com producing the highest sales on that auction platform in quite a while. (I know with all the discussion on .Co domains it may come as a shock that people are also still buying .com domains). BedSheets.com sold for a whopping $48K. Honestly I was in that auction up through around $25K. Are .Co Domains Worth More Than .Org Domains? - I couldn’t help but notice (especially when one of the readers pointed it out to me) that DuiAttorney.co sold for $44,500 in the Land Rush Auctions, which is more than I sold duiattorney.org for earlier this year. Several months ago I sold DuiAttorney.org through Sedo.com for $35,000 which at the time most thought was a fair price. However in the latest .Co Land Rush Auction report I posted yesterday, DuiAttorney.co sold for $10K more than the .Org. So the question is are .Co domain now worth more ... read more ...

WOW: New Record Of $53K For AutoGlass.co Highlights Another $500K In Land Rush .Co Auctions - The .Co registry has send me a 4th round of results for the ongoing .Co domain name Land Rush Application auctions. (you can see previous results here, here and here) The results are this time around is another record; $514,000 in sales on just 90 domains. WOW AutoGlass.co lead the way selling for $53,000. UPDATED: Quotes.com Sells For $1,150,000; Total DomainFest Extended Sales: $1,262,000 - Quotes.com just sold at the DomainFest extended auction on SnapNames.com for $1,150,000 Its a great domain and can be used for insurance, stocks and other financial markets. Compete.com shows the domain having over 20K visitors a month and Alexa ranks the domain as 450,000 most visited site. In all 19 domain names sold totally $1,261,905. A Record Low For A TRAFFIC Auction? RickLatona.com TRAFFIC Auction Results: 12 Domains Sold For A Total Of €86,820 - The RickLatona.com domain name auction from the TRAFFIC Dublin show just ended with what I’m pretty sure is an all time low for a TRAFFIC show. Just 12 domains sold for a total of 86,820 Euro’s or around $110K. Two domains accounted for 85% of the total sales, ShortFilms.com sold for €58,000 and Italian.net  €15,400. Corrected: Official Tally From DomainFest Today: $537K - Moniker’s live auction at DomainFest New York concluded today with an official tally of $537K in Domain names sold. There was a lot of confusion concerning the number and amount of domain names sold at the auction,  due to multiple domain sales being reported on the Live SnapNames.com feed which they erroneous showed as sold.
