Fail: NameJet.com System Is Saying Auctions Are Over For Today, Although 5+ Hours Remain - The is a glitch in NameJet.com system today as you can see from the screenshot below All of the domain name auctions I’m entered into today are showing that the auctions ended, although there are hours to go before the auction closes: Each auction has these words on the bidding page: “We’re sorry, you weren’t the high bidder.” This famous phrase known to all who use NameJet.com indicates the auction has ended an you lost. $135,000 In Bids Go To Waste As 5 Domain Names Fail To Hit Reserve On NameJet - 5 Domains at auction totaling almost $135,000 went unsold today at NameJet.com as they all failed to meet the reserve price set by the sellers. Trumpet.com last sold for $70K (publicly anyway) on NameJet.com in May 2009. Guess the owner didn’t want to take a loss on the domain to just free up some cash. Despite one site that only valued the domain name PriceMatch.com at $288 the reserve price was higher than $40K as a bid of $40,300 failed to get the domain. 4Square.com Goes For $32K On NameJet.com & Rex.com Pulls In $68K - The domain name 4Square.com sold on NameJet.com for $32,100. With three bidders of $10K or more the domain which is an alternative to the app Four Square went I believe to a frequent buyer Id on NameJet and probably not to the owner of the App. Separately the domain Rex.com sold for a lofty $68K today on Namejet. HouseRentals.com Hits $65K On NameJet.com With 1 Day To Go - The domain name HouseRentals.com is on auction at NameJet.com and the high bid has already topped $65,000 with a day to go. The high bidder is NameJet.com reserve meaning the reserve price set by the owner of the domain is higher. Aerospace.com Sells For $160,000 On Namejet.com - The auction for the domain name Aeropace.com which we wrote about the other day closed today with a winning bid of $160,200 The reseserve on the domain was $80,000 There were two bidders over that amount which drove the price all the way you to $160,000 making it the largest sales on NameJet.com I believe this year. Aerospace.com Bidding Tops $75K With 1 Day To Go At NameJet.com, But Still Hasn’t Hit Its “Low Reserve” - The domain name Aerospace.com is at auction at NameJet.com ends tomorrow and the bids have just topped $75K. The current high bid as time of publication is $75,100 but the high bidder is NameJet.com reserve meaning that the sellers reserve is set higher. There are 312 bidders in the auction but only 2 that have placed bids $10K or higher. Another One Of Zuccarinis Typo’s, Qoutes.com Sells For $27K on NameJet.com - The domain name Qoutes.com sold on NameJet.com today for $27,300. This is another one of  John Zuccarinis domains that Namejet.com has been auctioning off In other NameJet.com auctions today Grover.com sold for $5,400, Shio.com sold for $3,900 and Gou.org sold for $1,600 According to my tally well over $130K of Mr. Zuccarinis have been sold on Namejet in the last week. VirtualPrivateServer.com Sells For $20K On NameJet; Muisc.com For $11K & Polygamy.com For $9K - A bunch of other domain name sold at auction today at NameJet.com in addition to GoCarts.com which I though deserved it own post. The domain VirtualPrivateServer.com sold for $20,550. If you don’t know what this is, you can check out the quite long Wikipedia entry on it. Basically its related to hosting and is going to have a high PPC rate in addition to being a bang on term for a hosting company. On the other hand another typo, muisc.com sold for $10,800. GoCarts.com Sells For $60K On NameJet.com, $30K Less Than 2 Years Ago - Looks like someone just lost $30,000 on its purchase of GoCarts.com The domain name GoCarts.com sold just over two years ago on NameJet.com for $91,600 In a domain auction just concluded on NameJet.com today GoCarts.com just sold for $60,100 That’s $30,500 lower than July 2009 the last time it sold on NameJet.com Ouch. Therapy.org Sells For $18,766 On NameJet.com - Another nice sale on Namejet.com today as Therapy.org sold for $18,766. The domain name drew 7 bidders of $5K or more. Therapy.org was a drop domain meaning that the former owner elected or simply failed to renew it. The domain has a Google Page Rank of 2 and an Alexa Rank of 2.7 Million. Congrats to the buyer. Looks Like Its John Zuccarini’s Domains That Are The Typo’s Being Auctioned Off On NameJet.com - I wrote a story yesterday about typo domain names being auctioned off on NameJet.com Now thanks to a reader with a good memory (better than mine) it appears many of these domain used to belong to none other than John Zuccarini. Missed The Backorder Deadline For Warez.com? Don’t Worry It’s A Public Auction So You Can Still Bid - Namejet.com has elected to make the auction for the domain name Warez.com a public one. Sedo.com Raises Commission to 15% From 10% on Marketplace Sales & To 20% On MLS Fixed Price Sales - Sedo.com announced today that it is raising the commission rate of sale made through the it’s Marketplace (without broker assistance) to 15% from 10%. Also for those customers who fix price domains to sell in the Sedo MLS service, the commission rate will rise from 15% to 20%.
