My results from Moniker’s TrafficClub hit another high in August.
Last month I bragged about my RPM (revenue per thousand) on TrafficClub hitting $65.85 for July, a personal best. August saw another record with a $73.82 RPM. Part of this increase was due to an increase in traffic to one of my high RPM domains that pulls in almost $400 per thousand views.
DomainSponsor continues to give good numbers. My optimized DomainSponsor hits brought in $111.10 per thousand views, while my DomainSponsor generic landers brought in $14.13. Google Adsense for Domains had an RPM of $31.06 and Skenzo $70.27.
My best performing domain (that received at least 100 hits) has an RPM of $390.33, brought in exclusively through DomainSponsor. My worse performing domain (of at least 100 hits) had an RPM of $8.07.

Andrew,
Perhaps a novice question, what is keeping you from moving your domains that you know performs much better on say domainsponsor out of trafficclub and directly to domainsponsor? Given that TrafficClub is taking a slice of revenue from you, would it make more sense to direct once you know the most optimized parking service?

That’s an excellent question. My take is this: TrafficClub’s cut is very small. In fact, my understanding is that it’s cut on DomainSponsor is just the standard affiliate fee, so it doesn’t actually reduce your payout. Furthermore, since TrafficClub drive much more traffic through DomainSponsor than I can, TrafficClub gets a higher payout percentage from DomainSponsor. Thus, if I were to move my domains directly to DomainSponsor I could actually see a decrease in revenue. Also, if a domain on DomainSponsor starts to underperform then its traffic will automatically be diverted to another parking service.
Of course, the only way to figure this out is to actually transfer my domains to DomainSponsor. Right now I’m very comfortable with how TrafficClub optimizes them and don’t want to risk any loss in RPM.
If anyone else has thoughts on this I’d welcome your comments.

No, I don’t have any. I do know that the market for these domains is rapidly losing value.
