Register.com offers below cost registrations.
I usually don’t post special domain registration offers and coupon codes, but one landed in my inbox this afternoon that’s worth promoting. (Actually, my spam box.)
Register.com is offering one year new registrations for $3.95 each. It’s only good for the first year and there’s a limit of three domains. The offer terms also say “for new customers only”.
To get the special price use coupon code Reg395ab.
I’m a bit confused as to how I received a special promotion for new customers only (since I’ve had accounts at Register.com in the past), but the email was sent to an email address I only use in whois. Either way I think if you open a new account it should work.

It is too late for register.com and NSI, they should done that 5 years ago before they lose half their customers to godaddy.

I really hate register.com. It was nightmare using them. When I wanted to leave them they do everything to do this difficult.
Accordnig their rule you even have to wait up to few days on aut code.
They should not exist.. this is juts matter of time.

Not sure if I’m allowed to post this, but GoDaddy is doing $1.99 promotion on new registrations. Use the coupon code WINTER199

If they used a whois crawler to find your email, does that mean Register.com are now spammers?

I hate Register.com. I won’t be using the coupon code. They force you to call to get an auth code under the ruse of their superior security when they really just want to give you a sales pitch to stay with one of the worst registrars.
Auctioning expired names only continues to work if you keep getting new customers that don’t renew. Their golden goose is running out of eggs.
