Premium domain marketplace separates the gems from the trash.
Tired of sifting through listings on Sedo and Afternic trying to find good domains worthy of an offer? Then check out PremiumDomains.com.
Premium Domains is the brainchild of Francois Carrillo at Cybertonic. Premium Domains lists only the best of the best. The site doesn’t actually sell the domains, but accepts offers on domains which it forwards to the domain owners (or refers you to Sedo or BuyDomains to make an offer).
To qualify for listing, the domain must score 300 based on Cybertonic’s proprietary model plus meet other specifications. Cybertonic’s domain scoring model is really cool. I tried it out on about 500 domains and it isn’t easy to score a 300. That’s why this site is so valuable; it’s not easy to get a listing. (Cybertonic is updating its scoring model and isn’t advertising its scoring service right now. I’ll let you know when it’s updated.)
Among the domains listed:
SavingsAccounts.com (score 573)
CheddarCheese.com (363)
CherryTrees.com (355)
WebmasterTools.com (650)
PetToy.com (485)
You can submit domains to the site to see if they qualify for free. Qualifying domains that are also listed on Sedo do not have a listing fee.
Premium Domains is a new sponsor of Domain Name Wire, but I originally contacted Cybertonic about a review a long time ago. I was impressed with the quality of listings and the scoring algorithm.
