Company lays off staff after executive transitions
Los Angeles, CA domain name company Oversee.net has fired 13% of its workforce. The company just announced the layoffs with the following statement:
As part of its plan to address new growth opportunities, Oversee.net has realigned its work force resulting in a staff reduction of 13 percent. These moves, along with pending new hires, will allow the company to leverage core assets to innovate more effectively, improve competitive positioning and achieve growth.
This move comes just weeks after CEO Jeff Kupietzky left the company. Three other executives left in June.
Oversee.net fired 18% of its staff in early 2009, but has been hiring since.

As long as they don’t touch Glenda.

I would assume all of the ppc companies would be cutting back.
We are just not hearing about it from Trafficz, Smartname, Sedo, NameDrive, Hitfarm, etc.
Since, ppc revenue is down and Frank taking the cream of crop away from the other ppc companies, I’m sure we will hear about others being laid-off.
Would it surprise us to see some of the ppc companies selling out?
Or, one of the ppc companies ‘rolling up’ (buying) their competitors?

That sounds like it came out of a corporate news release generator algorithm.
Strategically optimizing your assets in order to leverage your core competency against challenging market conditions to achieve long term objectives is a great way to increase shareholder value for exploiting new opportunities.
Boggles my mind that people get paid for writing that sort of meaningless tripe.
