Domain Name Wire will cover both domain conferences next week.
I’ll be attending both the SedoPro Partner Forum and T.R.A.F.F.I.C. next week in New York and will provide continuous coverage on Domain Name Wire.
The SedoPro Partner Forum kicks off Sunday afternoon at Mohonk Mountain Resort in New Paltz, NY. Sedo will shuttle domainers from the Grand Hyatt NYC to New Paltz in time for a New England lobster bake Sunday evening. Monday starts with a relaxing game of golf, a visit to the spa, a hike through the Mohonk reserve, or a game of Tennis.
The conference turns to business after that. Phil Corwin kicks off the event at 2:30 followed by speed networking at 3:30. Apparently that’s enough business for one day, as the evening turns to cocktails, dinner, and the SedoPro gala.
Tuesday is all business. The first session asks “What will the domain market look like in 2012?”. Other sessions during the day focus on legal issues, parking optimization, domain investment opportunities, and new Sedo products in the pipeline. At 3PM Sedo will shuttle attendees back to the Grand Hyatt for the start of T.R.A.F.F.I.C.
I hate typing all those p.e.r.i.o.d.s, so for the rest of this post I’ll just call it TRAFFIC. TRAFFIC kicks off at 6:30 Tuesday night with a welcome cocktail event. After cocktails Terry Jones, founder and former CEO of Travelocity will speak.
Wednesday is packed with seminars and the official TRAFFIC party, which will flow into the morning. Thursday is the big day as Moniker puts on what looks to be a record-breaking domain name auction.
I’ll do my best to bring you the action as it happens. The schedule is clearly packed, so please forgive me for any delays. If you are heading to either SedoPro or TRAFFIC, please find me and say hello.
