Youngest Cyrus gets domain name.
Noah Cyrus, the eleven year old sister of Miley Cyrus and sondaughter (oops) of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, has won rights to the domain name NoahCyrus.com.
The domain name was registered in 2006 just as Cyrus became a household name thanks to the Disney channel’s Hannah Montana TV show. But she got her start in acting with a role in the TV show Doc when she was just three years old. She had the lead role in the film Ponyo in 2009.
There was little doubt why the domain was registered. The parked page currently at NoahCyrus.com shows two Disney ads and one for “Hot Miley Cyrus Photo”.
The UDRP case was decided by panelist Houston Putnam Lowry for National Arbitration Forum.

Was this domain really of any value?
I think these types of decisions are the reason for UDRP. However the numerous GENERICS that get disputed is a major problem.

I’m confused. This person is both somebody’s sister and somebody’s son?
Sounds like somebody’s been confused by a babymullett.

@ Kevin Murphy – in the words of Rick Perry….
Oops.

Anyone knows where can I find a UDRP attorney at reasonable cost to defend a UDRP that is going to be files against one of our generic domains which just means “Wedding TV” in India’s national language Hindi.
My budget is $500 and I also have done quite bit of helpful research about the complainant already.
I am also thinking about filing a lawsuit against this Indian website/company that is trying to reverse hijack our domain.
Please share any info about a good TM attorney who can help me as I can only squeeze out $500 to pay.
