A bus service, real estate firm and other companies that bought domain names last week.
The end of 2015 is helping Sedo finish the year in style. Last week it handled 654 domain name transactions for a total of $1.4 million.
Among the end users that bought domain names were a New Zealand company that bought a .co to match its .co.nz, a pharmaceuticals company that is rebranding, and a site that wants to be a gathering place for people with an illness.
Here’s a look at end user domain name sales from the past week on Sedo:
(You can view previous lists like this here. If you’d like to learn how to sell your domain names like these on Sedo, download this report.)
eMooov.co.uk $799 – UK real estate firm eMoov, which recently bought Huts.co.uk, picked up a typo of its domain name.
Flexibus.de €4,500 – European bus service Flixbus.
AirFashion.com $29,000 – I’m not sure what this guy plans to use with the domain, but he also owns some related ones. At this price, it’s definitely for a business.
CornerStore.co $1,985 – Mark Monitor bought this .co domain name for a client. The .com is owned by Kevin Ham’s company.
StealMyIdea.com €4,500 – the company behind LeanStack.com, which holds workshops for enterpreneurs.
MyWraps.com $1,895 – Car audio company Midbass must be getting into the car wraps business.
DickStone.com $977 – Stone Financial in Jacksonville, Texas uses the domain name DickStoneFinancial.com.
SilenceFestival.com $777 – Silence Entertainment in Geneva bought this domain name.
Urogen.com $3,000 – Pharmaceuticals firm Theracoat is changing its name to Urogen.
LearningMachine.org $6,150 – Dallas software firm Learning Machine already owns the .com version of this domain name.
LearnersGuild.com $1,999 – Learners Guild in San Francisco already owns the .org domain name. But neither of these names resolve, so I can’t tell you what they do.
IndustrialTouchScreens.com £$750 – Utah company Touch Screens Inc. buys yet another domain name.
PeopleWho.com $3,060 – People Who Global, S.L. runs a site for people who suffer from an illness. Its site is PeopleWhoGlobal.com.
Optimism.co $700 – New Zealand business education company Optimism uses the domain name Optimism.co.nz.
KuwaitTown.com $750 – Someone in Kuwait bought this domain name, and they have a “coming soon” page up for a new site.

Do you mean, Learners Guild already owns LearnersGuild.org?
Another end user sale to add to the ones you report is:
GeoGroup.de bought by Geo Ingenieurservice Group who use GeoIngS.de. I prefer GeoGroup. There is a US company called GeoGroup, who use the dot com. This is a classic example that a ccTLD can mean a different company, though using the same brand. I don’t think US-based correctional institute services will open an office in Germany . . .
Andrew Allemann says
Thanks fixed the typo.
